HOW LONG TO BUILD?

I think production is only a day or two. Its shipping the biggest delay.
My order of an XLT ecoboost has been in production since the 13th. Ford told me they would not send emails to individuals on progress. I got a rep who wasn't interested evidently. Isn't it shameful for Ford to expect consumers to wait such long times to buy a vehicle from them? 9 months, or longer is ridiculous, but given the time, war, covid, Putin, etc. I understand a bit, but getting very impatient, especially when production only takes a week or less.

I ordered my Maverick back in July of 2021, Just a bare bones model with a trailer hitch, bed liner, and electrical plug on the interior as add-ons. Almost 9 months later, no word on production or info from the dealer. I am a patient soul so I guess I'll just endure a little longer.
I keep telling myself, no worries, no stress, or you will end up worse than before I ordered it. Nothing can be done to hurry it along, but Ford really needs to compensate for the long wait times. Afterall, it is Ford who is profiting, not the consumers.

It seems strange to me you have never received email updates directly from Ford. I did with every step of production, as did others with successfully fulfilled orders.
My salesman doesn't ever communicate. Ford doesn't unless I call them. I will eventually get the truck, but my thoughts go constantly for those children because of a sick SOB. God help us all.

I reached my salesperson this morning and he told me that my 2022 Maverick Hybrid is on the production schedule. It has a building date of July 26th, 2022. That is just about a full year since it was ordered. I am curious as to how Ford will compensate all the frustrated customers who have been patiently waiting for their trucks to ship. 0% financing would be a nice start.
Good luck with that
